With a warm and relaxed approach, Jo always has time for you and her experience means that she can advise on all the little extras that make the day memorable. From name cards to favours, to cars and entertainment, Jo has the answer!

"I really enjoy getting to know our couples and their families and I feel very lucky to be part of Moor Hall's team. We always treat our guests like royalty, ensure every aspect of the day has a little wow factor and most importantly, that everyone enjoys themselves. I get a particular thrill from seeing the happy couples' big smiles when the Charter Suite is revealed in all its glory on their wedding day, but it has to be said that my favourite part of a wedding is always the evening reception as I love a good dance!"

Booking Your Wedding FAQs

How far in advance can I book Moor Hall Hotel & Spa as a wedding venue?
Anytime! We can take bookings for years in advance. However, we might not be able to provide quotes if our prices have not been finalised yet. We usually have prices set for up to 3 years in advance. So, if you are looking to set a date further than 3 years in the future, we can secure your date and take a deposit and then get in touch when the prices are released.

I want to get married soon! What’s the quickest I can do this?
You have to give notice which needs to be given 4 weeks before a wedding date. So, no quicker than 4 weeks. However, churches can sometimes grant quick services under special reasons. As a venue, if we have the date free, we can accommodation weddings within a week or so notice – we have done so before!

When do I pay the deposit and how much is it?
We provisionally hold your wedding date for 2 weeks after you book it. Then after the 2 weeks the £1,000 deposit is needed to secure the date. If this isn’t paid then we release the date.

When is the next payment due?
The next payment in is an interim payment of £2,000 which is due 7 months prior to your wedding.

When do I pay the full balance?
The full balance for your wedding is due 6 weeks prior to your wedding day.

If I have money saved up, can I chip away at the balance as and when?
Of course. Whatever money paid to the hotel goes towards the interim payment at 7 months prior or final balance at 6 weeks prior.

How do I pay?
You can pay over the phone, or by BACS transfer or come in to the hotel to pay with cash.

We have a beautiful four poster suite called the Wedding Preparation Room which sleeps up to 4 guests.
