Moor Hall's Charity of The Year for 2024

Moor Hall Hotel is delighted to announce that our chosen charity for 2024 will be The Holly Trust, a local charity dedicated to fighting bowel cancer locally.

Moor Hall Hotel is a family owned hotel that is committed to supporting the local Sutton Coldfield community. Each year we chose one local, Sutton Coldfield based charity to focus our fundraising efforts on and for 2024 the team have chosen The Holly Trust. 

The Holly Trust is a registered local charity based in Sutton Coldfield and Solihull. Founded in 1997, the trust is made up of specialist bowel cancer nurses, patients who have had bowel cancer, relatives and carers. The Holly Trust is dedicated to fighting bowel cancer locally through: 

Raising Awareness
Raising awareness of bowel cancer so that people within the West Midlands will seek diagnosis and treatment at an early stage. 

Raising Funds
Raising funds for equipment, treatments and effective research

Help & Support
Providing help and support to patients who have been diagnosed with bowel cancer.

Mark Medley, General Manager at Moor Hall commented: "It was great to meet John and Jane from The Holly Trust to start discussing how we can support the charity in 2024. The team are really excited to support The Holly Trust and we have some great ideas on how to raise money for the charity including a Wolf Run in the summer, a curry and quiz night as well as raffles and sweepstakes."
