Went for afternoon tea with my daughter. Paul & Debbie were extremely attentive and nothing was too much trouble - including changing a tea cup after a mishap with a tea strainer!!
The food was delicious and freshly prepared and the warm scones were a personal highlight. The amount of food was generous and we were boxes to takeaway the cakes that we couldn't manage in one sitting.
If you are looking for a relaxing afternoon tea with personal service, you can't go wrong with a visit to Moor Hall. We will definitely be returning.
I went to Moor Hall for an afternoon tea with my daughter and my mother, three generations! The setting is beautiful, the staff lovely and the tea delicious, especially the scones. Even the sun shone for us. I will definitely go again for another special occasion.
Had a lovey spa and afternoon tea. Staff were very helpful in the spa and also at afternoon tea. Thanks to Mia and Belle for making afternoon tea a pleasant one and for changing sandwiches due to our dietary requirements. You were both really nice to speak to. I definitely recommend here, the building and grounds are beautiful. My friend and I sat in the garden afterwards in the sunshine, it was a lovely day and evening.
We arrived a day early for three of us for afternoon tea. Bella was very kind and said she’d speak to the chef, she was very kind, polite and professional. The chef Grant obliged and arranged to do our afternoon tea, it was perfect. We then had cocktails out in the sunshine on the lawn. A great afternoon. Bella and Grant were more than accommodating, a credit to Moor Hall.
Afternoon Tea today excellent the service and presentation was spot on as the food the staff were also excellent Mirgan and Mira who looked after us. We even took a box of food home with us as we could not finish all the food in our time there, very pleasant surrounding with golf course next door certainly go again.
My wife and I have enjoyed afternoon teas around the country but this had to be one of the most enjoyable experiences primarily because of the service from Debbie and Paul. Paul welcomed us with a smile, showing us our table and explaining the menus. Debbie was a star, on hand the entire time, explaining the different teas refilling for us promptly and this was the only venue where they would replace your cup and strainer each time you ordered a new brew. Service was always quick and with a smile. The venue was surprisingly cosy. Will definitely be returning.
We had afternoon tea yesterday and as always it was perfect. Mine was vegan and absolutely delicious. There was so much we took some home. The choice of teas was lovely and unlimited. To top it all we had crackers and inside was a voucher for discount in January/February. Can't wait to return.
We booked afternoon tea for three at the request of a friend who was staying in the country. This was my second visit ( the last one being some ten years ago) and based 9n my previous experience, recommended Moor Hall for our afternoon tea. We were not disappointed. We were seated in a lovely wood panelled room, the table set with fresh linen, flowers And we were treated to a magnificent array of sandwiches and sweet treats. I had a separate stand as I had requested a vegetarian tea. Pots of tea were plentiful. We would all recommend the experience. Not the cheapest, but well worth the money for the quality and ambiance. A mention too for the staff, both Paul and Debbie made sure it was a tea we would all remember and would want to enjoy again.
I went to afternoon tea with my 10 month old son, my mum and my sisters. I cannot praise the place enough. The room was done out lovely and the staff there were so friendly and helpful. Their service was amazing, even with my son. Had a lovely afternoon.
