Fitness Classes

We are delighted to announce that our Leisure Club facilities have reopened. We have been independently audited to ensure we are Covid-19 Safe, Clean & Legal (TM). Please click here to view our new safety and cleaning procedures.

To book your fitness class, gym or pool slot, please click here or on the box below. Our fitness classes are running at a smaller capacity and can be booked up to 1 week in advance. Some classes are temporarily suspended and we will start running these again once it is safe to do so.

All Leisure Club members and hotel guests are required to book pool and gym slots so that we can control numbers and keep you safe. Pool slot are for 45 minutes and we apologise, but no changing facilities are available for hotel guests and we ask members to vacate the changing facilities quickly and shower at home if possible. Gym slots are for 50 minutes to allow us to sanitise the area once an hour before each slot.

We recommend that you bring your own yoga mat with you to classes that require a mat.


The Leisure Club at Moor Hall offers a wide range of fitness classes throughout the day, 7 days a week. Our classes are led by our qualified fitness instructors who can give advice on how to make the class more suitable for any fitness level.

Aqua Fit

Temporarily suspended
A fun water workout that improves fitness using dumbbells, woggles or mitts whilst protecting the joints.

Fitness Pilates

Monday 9.45am, Tuesday 7.20pm & Wednesday 11:15am.
Works on the deep postural muscles, rebalancing & strengthening the body. Promotes postural alignment for a longer, leaner, stronger, more toned body.

Freesyle Fitness Yoga

Tuesday 8:10pm & Thursday 11:10am
Targets flexibility, core stability and strength. It mimics yoga in its breathing and style, offering postures that endorse strength and stability.

Sculpt & Tone

Wednesday 9.45am
A workout with resistance which targets the major muscle groups to tone and sculpt your body. This class incorporates body bars, resistance bands, dumbbells & stability balls.

On the Ball

Tuesday 9.45am and Wednesday 6.15pm
A class using a stability ball that improves body and movement awareness, creating better posture and balance whilst incorporating toning.

Stretch & Flex

Friday 11:15am
A class to maintain and develop flexibility with relaxation to finish.

Back Care & Yoga

Saturday 12pm
A class to assist with spinal movement and awareness. The back maintenance exercise programme is the key to a healthy back.

Dru Yoga

Thursday 7.15pm
Using soft flowing movements, direct breathing and visualisation, Dru yoga works on body, mind and spirit and improves strength and flexibility.

Tai Chi

Temporarily suspended
Tai chi, also called tai chi chuan, combines deep breathing and relaxation with flowing movements. Originally developed as a martial art in 13th-century China, tai chi is now practised around the world as a health-promoting exercise.


Monday 6.15pm & Tuesday 6:10pm
This total body workout will give fast results for strength, endurance and muscle toning using dynamic, total body movements. This class will help strengthen your core and improve posture, while stripping body fat.


Friday 9.45am and Saturday 10.45am
A mixture of aerobics, body conditioning, core stability and flexibility.

Functional Fitness

Tuesday 10:45am
This is a class in which you perform tasks in training that replicate the movements found in life; improve your strength while increasing your heart rate.

Studio Cycling

Tuesday 6.45pm, Wednesday 7am and 8:15pm, Thursday 6.30pm, Friday 7am, Saturday 8:15am and Sunday 9.45am
Studio Cycling is a highly effective workout which improves coordination, strength and endurance - it’s an excellent calorie burner.

30 Minute Interval Work Out

Monday 11:15am
A 30 minute Interval workout is designed to target all areas of fitness in one class. The interval training format where bursts of non-choreographed aerobic activity are separated by periods of muscular strength and endurance work.


Thursday 9.45am and Friday 6.15pm
HIIT, or High Intensity Interval Training, is a total body, heart pumping, aerobic and strength conditioning workout. This interval based class combines full boy strength training with high intensity cardio bursts designed to tone your body and improve your endurance. Modifications for all fitness levels are provided.


Monday 7.10pm
A high energy, aerobics based uplifting class using movements inspired by dance styles such as jazz, jive, ballet and more. Working on co-ordination, core stability, flexibility, this is a great feel good class.

Bums & Tums

Friday 6.45pm
A class based on targeting the most problematic areas to help burn calories and tone. This class involves aerobic, stationary and floor based exercises to work on those targeted areas and really feel the burn.


Temporarily suspended
The full-body Powerhoop Workout is more than just hip twirling; Powerhoops work all of the body’s muscle groups in a variety of fun and effective exercises. Powerhoop’s weight and large diameter make hooping easy.

Outdoor Bootcamp

Temporarily suspended
A fun way to burn calories and tone the whole body. Lots of body weight exercises, fun games and races for all ages. Taking place on the lawns at the front of Moor Hall during the summer months.


Wednesday 7:10pm
A high energy, aerobics class using movements inspired by the sounds of Latin America including Salsa, Cha Cha, Samba, Hip-Hop and Ragga.
It’s a fun and easy workout designed to burn calories.
Each class is designed to help you lose weight, have fun and get fitter.
