From the moment when entering the Oak Room, we were treated very well indeed. We all enjoyed our respective meals. The staff attention was excellent. It was my 80th birthday celebration and the staff reacted to that with vigour, I rate the experience 10 out of 10!

In a lovely setting, a hotel full of character, with very friendly staff. The Country Kitchen restaurant serves good quality food with generous portions. Again, the waiting staff and chefs are helpful and friendly.

Staff went above and beyond in catering for my mother’s big 90th birthday party in June 2022 and then for an afternoon tea in June 2023 for her 91st. Decent food and drink. Beautiful grounds around hotel as well. Peaceful and quiet. Lovely location for a function.

My friend treated me to a birthday Afternoon Tea and it was absolutely delightful. Leah, our waitress, was very attentive and nothing was too much trouble. The food was delicious, the room was magnificent and the setting was fantastic. We had a wonderful time. Thank you.

Everything was amazing! From the room to the dinner to breakfast. The staff were superb in every department, especially the Country Kitchen! We had a beautiful meal and the staff went above and beyond by giving me a special birthday dessert plate.
