Spa Treatment Terms & Conditions

1. Booking & Arrival

Guests must arrive at least 15 minutes prior to their treatment. Late arrival may result in reduced treatment time with the full charge still applied.

2. Medical Disclosure

Guests must declare all medical conditions, allergies, medications, and recent or planned surgery at the time of booking and on arrival. Failure to disclose may result in treatment refusal or cancellation with full charge.

3. Conditions Where Treatment Cannot Proceed

Treatments will not be carried out if guests present with fever, infection, contagious illness, open wounds, intoxication, or any condition deemed unsafe by the therapist.

4. Surgery & Post-Operative Guidelines

0–6 weeks: No treatments permitted. 6–12 weeks: Facials may be allowed if recovery is uncomplicated; massage must be adapted with no abdominal work and light pressure only. 12+ weeks: Treatments may proceed subject to consultation. Medical approval may still be required.

5. Facial Treatment Restrictions

Facials cannot be performed where there are active infections, open wounds, severe irritation, sunburn, or recent clinical treatments (Botox/fillers within 2 weeks, laser/peels within 2–4 weeks).

6. Massage Treatment Restrictions

Massage cannot proceed where surgery has taken place within 12 weeks without medical approval, or where there is acute injury, infection, or circulatory conditions.

7. Cancer & Complex Conditions

Guests undergoing or recovering from cancer must provide written medical approval prior to booking. Treatments may be adapted or declined.

8. Pregnancy

Must be declared at booking. Treatments are only available after the first trimester and must be pregnancy-safe.

9. Right to Refuse

The spa reserves the right to refuse or adapt treatments at any stage in the interest of guest safety.

10. Liability

Guests are responsible for providing accurate information. Failure to do so may result in treatment refusal without refund.

11. Medical Advice

If unsure, guests should seek advice from their GP or consultant prior to booking.
