Our friendly, qualified fitness team at Moor Hall Leisure Club is dedicated to helping you achieve your fitness goals. 

We offer personalised exercise programs tailored to your needs, whether your focus is weight loss, improved sports performance, or rehabilitation.  Our expert team can also provide advice on nutrition and training, including post-illness recovery and injury prevention. Our team can assess your needs and develop an exercise programme specifically for you, which is included in your membership.

Matt

Our Leisure Club & Spa Manager, Matt Warland's passion for fitness started at an early age and he studied Health & Fitness at university. He enjoys advising on all aspects of fitness and nutrition.

  • Level 2 Award in Olympic Weightlifting

Paul

Paul has worked in the fitness industry for over 20 years. He first became interested in fitness when he started martial arts in his teenage years.

  • Level 2 Freestyle Fitness yoga
  • Level 2 Stability Ball Training
  • Level 3 Advanced Diploma in Health and Fitness Studies

Specialisms:

Paul is focused on the health benefits of fitness rather than the aesthetics and his areas of expertise are sports injury rehabilitation and core stability.

Jasmine

Meet Jasmine, our new gym instructor who’s passionate about helping you feel great, achieve your fitness goals, and embrace a healthy lifestyle as she progresses toward her Level 3 in personal training.

Qualifications:

  • Level 2 Gym Instructing

Specialisms:
Jasmine's favourite part of the job is witnessing members improve in fitness, well-being, and overall strength. She prioritises clients with long-term, achievable and progressive objectives. 

Daniel

Daniel has a diverse background and brings valuable experience to the team. His strong military background, which includes pre-parachute selection training, has further instilled discipline and resilience in his workout approach.

  • Level 3 Personal Training
  • Kettlebells

Specialisms:
Outside the gym, Daniel stays active playing 5-a-side football, his favourite way to unwind and stay fit. He dedicates himself to providing a top-quality experience that makes you feel confident and comfortable as you pursue your fitness goals.

Lulu

Lulu is a qualified fitness instructor with a passion for fitness and nutrition. She’s currently completing her Level 3 Personal Trainer qualification and enjoys weightlifting, yoga, basketball and running. Lulu brings a positive, balanced approach to her sessions and is a strong advocate for women’s mental health.

Qualifications:

  • Currently Studying Level 3 Personal Trainer
  • Level 2 Fitness Instructor

Specialisms:

Lulu loves helping people feel stronger, healthier and more confident. She’s especially passionate about supporting women on their fitness journeys, creating routines that are not only effective but empowering too.

What are the benefits of a personal trainer?

  • A personal trainer will create a tailored training programme to suit your needs, abilities and goals and adapt your plan based on your progress.
  • A personal trainer will guide you on how to perform exercise correctly and safely. It you are new to the gym or new to lifting weights, getting the technique right is vital.
  • Our team keep up to date with industry trends and training methods, which save you time from doing all the research yourself.
  • Our personal trainers are passionate and supportive, but they’ll also challenge and motivate you to push yourself further.
  • Sometimes the toughest battle is getting to the gym. A personal trainer will hold you accountable; it’s not so easy to cancel the gym if you have a personal training session.
