Life has been on hold but our plans to reopen are well underway. We are delighted to announce that we will reopen our hotel from Saturday 4th July. The welfare of our guests and our team is always our first priority, so when you able to visit us again, you can do this feeling assured that we have in place all the precautions to minimise the spread of Covid-19 and keep you safe. We are being independently audited before we reopen with an assessment from Quality in Tourism to ensure our hotel is Covid-19 Safe, Secure & Legal (TM).
When we opened Moor Hall in 1961, guest safety and comfort was our top priority. Today it is everything. So, although elements of our service will be different, we are committed to making sure that our teams are well-equipped, well trained and, as ever, ready to provide a warm Moor Hall welcome. Can I book a hotel room with you now?
Yes, you can book for stays after 4th July 2020 on our website or by calling 0121 308 3751. Please note we do not have our full team back in the hotel yet, so it may be the case that someone has to call you back later.
Can I book for the Country Kitchen?
Our Country Kitchen restaurant is to remain closed for the time being. However, we do have a roast of the day on our reduced menu which is available for £12.95 and from 6pm to 9pm. You can choose to dine in our adapted Oak Room restaurant, lounge bar or terrace. We do ask that you pre-book your table by calling us on 0121 308 3751 as we will be operating with minimal staff to ensure the wellbeing of our team
Can I book for the Oak Room restaurant?
Whilst our Oak Room restaurant will be open, the seating will be spaced to ensure we follow Government advice on social distancing. We are offering a reduced menu available from 6pm to 9pm with Oak Room dishes, as well as lounge bar items. We ask that you pre-book your table by calling us on 0121 308 3751 as we will be operating with minimal staff to ensure the wellbeing of our team.
Can I come to the hotel for lunch?
We are offering a choice of sandwiches from our Lounge Bar menu between 11am and 9pm. You can choose to dine in our adapted Oak Room restaurant, lounge bar or terrace.
Can I book for Sunday Lunch?
We are offering a plated three course lunch (menu to be finalised shortly). We ask that you pre-book your table by calling us on 0121 308 3751 as we will be operating with minimal staff to ensure the wellbeing of our team.
Can I come for Afternoon Tea?
We will be offering our Classic Afternoon Tea between 1pm and 6pm every day. We ask that you pre-book your table by calling us on 0121 308 3751 as we will be operating with minimal staff to ensure the wellbeing of our team.
Is the Leisure Club & Spa Open?
Our Leisure Club & Spa will remain closed until Government advice is updated. Any membership has been suspended during lockdown and we will notify our members an update as soon as we know more.
I have a wedding booked in July / August, is it going ahead?
Our wedding co-ordinator will have already been in touch to discuss your options, however, if you wish to postpone your wedding to a later date please get in touch.
Can I book a Wedding Showround at the hotel?
Yes, we look forward to welcoming couples to our hotel once we reopen! We are working on the details to ensure we offer a safe visit. Please get in touch with us at email@example.com to arrange a time and date to view our hotel.
Are you running any special events soon?
No, until we receive advice from the Government that groups of 100 people or more can meet we are not hosting any of our popular special events.
Can I book for Christmas?
Yes! Click here to view our Christmas brochure online and the Christmas section of the website is being prepared to go live this week. To book please call us on 0121 308 3751.
Will you extend my gift voucher if it expired during lockdown or expires soon?
Yes, we are extending all gift vouchers until the end of October regardless of when they were due to expire. Once we reopen we will review any other gift voucher enquiries. If you have a Groupon Voucher we will extend too - but please bear with us until The Spa reopens so we can assess the situation.
Can I book a meeting or conference?
We are able to offer a range of rooms for training, meetings and events and guests have access large outdoor areas. Our capacities will be adjusted to facilitate social distancing. Please get in touch if you require space for housing your office workers safely, or you wish to use our space as an alternative to working from home.
