Celebrating British Food Fortnight!
We’re inviting you to join in a celebration of British food & drink as part of British Food Fortnight, which runs from 27th to 12th August.
Now in its 11th year, British Food Fortnight is a national event which aims to raise awareness of the diversity of delicious home-grown, locally sourced British food and drink which makes our country great.
Our menus already show our commitment to sourcing locally, and for British Food Fortnight, the menus at our two restaurants will feature dishes with a particularly British flavour, such as Cornish crab cakes with homemade tartare saucer and local beef 3 ways with mashed potato and red wine sauce. Plus all diners can enter a competition to win dinner, bed & breakfast for two at Moor Hall!
Lee Romillie, Head Chef explained: “There is a sad tendency to think of British food as plain and uninteresting but that is just not the case. At Moor Hall we always use the best local seasonal produce and we hope that the imaginative dishes on offer during British Food Fortnight will open people’s eyes to the fantastic produce available right on our doorstep”.
