Covid-19 Update at Moor Hall Hotel & Spa
Moor Hall Hotel & Spa has been independently audited by Quality in Tourism to ensure we are Covid-19 Safe, Clean & Legal.
The welfare of our guests and our team is always our first priority, so when you are able to visit us again you can do this feeling assured that we have in place all the precautions to minimise the spread of Covid-19 and keep you safe.
Our new Covid-19 procedures include temperature checking staff every day; minimising contact for guests at check-in; removing non-essential items from bedrooms; implementing one-way systems and social distancing measures; operating with a reduced menu to ensure staff safety; removing tables and chairs to ensure the restaurants and bars can operate with social distancing; as well as deep cleaning all areas of the hotel and regular sanitisation of key touch point areas.
Before you arrive
If you are showing any Covid-19 symptoms or have been in recent contact with anyone who is displaying symptoms, please do not visit the hotel. If you feel unwell and start to display any Covid-19 symptoms during your stay please call NHS 24, then notify Reception and stay in your room, following any guidelines issued by the NHS Helpline.
When You Check In
We will be minimising contact with staff with screens at our reception desk; your room key card will already be sanitised and ready for you to collect; we encourage payment by card; and we ask you to observe any one way systems and social distancing space from guests who are not in your party and our team. It is mandatory for you to wear face masks in the public areas of the hotel which include reception and corridors, but face masks are not required in the restaurant or bar.
All areas of the hotel undergo regular deep cleaning and key touch point areas are sanitised throughout each day. We have been independently audited by Quality in Tourism to ensure that our hotel is Covid-19 Safe, Clean and Legal ™ .
In Your Room
All of our rooms are left vacant for 24 hours after a guest leaves when possible and are left with the windows open during this period. All areas of your room including hair dryers, remote controls and switches will be deep cleaned and sanitised before your stay. Please note that your room will not be serviced if you are staying for more than two days to help us minimise contact. However, you can request a service if you wish - please dial “0”. Tea, coffee, milk etc refills are available - please ask at Reception.
Breakfast is served between 7.00am and 9.30am Monday to Friday, and between 7.30am and 10am Saturday & Sunday. We are offering a Continental and full English breakfast which you can choose to eat in our socially distanced Restaurant or collect to dine in your room.
Lunch & Dinner
Open from 12pm to 2pm Monday to Friday and Sunday and 6pm to 9pm every evening our Country Kitchen offers all your favourite carvery roasts and Chef’s specials. Alternatively our Reduced Menu is available from12pm to 9pm every day. You can choose to dine in our socially distanced Restaurant, Lounge Bar, on our Terrace or in your room.
Gym & Pool
Our gym and indoor pool facilities are open, but with limited availability to ensure guest safety. Please dial 314 to book your time slot to use the indoor pool and gym. Please note that there are no changing facilities available. Our sauna and steam room are currently closed.
Help us keep everyone safe
Please adhere to social distancing around the hotel and wear face masks in public areas. Wash your hands regularly and use the hand sanitiser available. Contactless payment is preferred
Afternoon Tea is available every day between 1pm and 6pm. Please book your table here.
Our teams will be temperature checked each day and before employees return to work, they will have completed Covid-19 training which emphasises that hygiene, safety and cleanliness is the top priority - as well as making sure our guests feel comfortable and welcome with these new measures we have in place.
