Meet The Team

Many people make up the team who will make your wedding day at Moor Hall magical.

From the Wedding Co-ordinator who will look after you up until the big day to the team on the day who will welcome you and your guests. Also let's not forget our amazing team of chefs who will provide a delicious meal for you to enjoy with your loved ones.

Here are two key people at Moor Hall who you will meet along your wedding journey.

Jo Dewhurst - Wedding Co-ordinator

Jo has worked as a Wedding Co-ordinator at Moor Hall for over 10 years. Jo lives and breathes weddings, in fact she prides herself on the fact that she can answer any wedding or Moor Hall related question! With a warm and relaxed approach, Jo always has time for you and her experience means that she can advise on all the little extras that make the day memorable. From name cards to favours, to cars and entertainment, Jo has the answer!

"I really enjoy getting to know our couples and their families and I feel very lucky to be part of Moor Hall's team. We always treat our guests like royalty, ensure every aspect of the day has a little wow factor and most importantly, that everyone enjoys themselves. I get a particular thrill from seeing the happy couples' big smiles when the Charter Suite is revealed in all its glory on their wedding day, but it has to be said that my favourite part of a wedding is always the evening reception as I love a good dance!"

Tom Halligan - Banqueting Manager

Tom is our Banqueting Manager and he or a senior member of his team will look after the couple on the wedding day and ensure everything runs smoothly.

Tom has worked in hospitality for over 8 years and loves running our weddings. He counts one of his best assets is announcing the couple and being THAT person who gets everyone to pay attention to the speeches. His favourite part of the day is meeting the couple as they come out of the ceremony with a well deserved glass of champagne!

His top tip is to take a step back and take everything in. It's so easy to get to the end of the day and think "where has the time gone".

Tom's funniest wedding story was when the groom and the best man were identical twins and they thought it was hilarious to keep swapping around and pretending to be each other!
