Our 4* hotel is located in Sutton Coldfield, near Birmingham and was once owned by Bishop Vesey who entertained Henry VIII at the property. The current building was built in the 1900s by Colonel Ansell for his private residence and the wood carvings, stonework and stained-glass windows can be seen today.
Set at the end of a tree lined drive, Moor Hall's sweeping lawns and natural woodlands make a stunning setting. A rose lined path leads down from the conservatory to this historical Sunken Garden which has a double stone staircase, water fountain and Victorian grottos. Couples can choose to hold their civil ceremony outside in our Sunken Garden and the area makes a magical backdrop for photographs.
Inside the hotel the Charter Suite is an elegant and spacious room with its own direct entrance from the car park, stylish bar and surrounding conservatory overlooking the gardens. Smaller weddings can be held in the beautiful Oak Room restaurant which has sweeping views of the surrounding parkland, oak panelling and open fireplaces.
Moor Hall has 83 bedrooms including rooms with hot tubs, suites, family rooms and four poster bedrooms. Guests staying at the hotel for the wedding can take advantage of preferrential rates.
