Why did I become a fitness instructor/personal trainer?
As a teenager I was very unhealthy and overweight and as I got older, I started to work out by doing more sports such as football, athletics and badminton. Doing this helped me lose a lot of weight but I ended up losing too much weight and became extremely fragile and weak as I wasn’t eating enough. As I started to learn more about fitness and nutrition, I decided I wanted to pursue this further and help people in a similar situation to me.
How do I differ from other trainers?
I am always developing my skills and eager to keep learning and progressing my knowledge to help people further. My main focus is making fitness enjoyable, fun and something you look forward to doing, rather than seeing it as a chore.
I love using a rowing machine and cross trainer, a great full body blitz on either will do the world of good. My favourite exercise would have to be a deadlift purely for the amount of benefits and uses of it. The deadlift is a great calorie burner, it helps build muscle, it is great to increase core strength and will aid in building that elusive six pack.
I really struggle to stay off fizzy drinks!
