Moor Hall Invests in New Indoor Bikes

Moor Hall Invests in New Indoor Bikes divider

Exciting news! Twelve new top-of-the-range indoor bikes will be arriving at Moor Hall’s Leisure Club in early January.

The new Keiser M3i Series indoor bikes are engineered to fit riders of all body shapes and sizes and provide a true road bike experience, inside the gym.

Keiser have been making gym cardio equipment for over 40 years and have spend the last 10 years perfecting the M3 indoor bike. The design includes:

A V-shaped frame which matches riders of all sizes. This helps the M3i to mimic different road-bike frames by allowing the seat and the handlebars to be simply raised in conjunction with one another to adjust for longer legs, torsos and arms.

The Keiser M3i bikes have a rear-wheel design.

They are the first indoor bike designed to predict the power generated at any speed in any gear ensuring that you are provided with accurate ride data immediately.

Curved crank arms to fit wider hips and bulky shoes. This means the bikes are suitable for any type of rider footwear, from narrow bike shoes to the bulkier gym shoes.

Track every ride - the bikes are able to communicate with the group class TV while simultaneously syncing data to riders' cycling apps on their smart phones or tablets.

Record every detail - download the Keiser M Service or M Service Pro app on your smart phone to easily log in and see every detail of your ride and track your progress.

Matthew Warland, Moor Hall Leisure Club & Spa Manager commented: “We know our members and guests will love the new Keiser indoor bikes. They are the Rolls Royce of indoor cycling bikes and will give you a workout unlike any bike you’ve ever tried! Using the 24 gears, you can gradually increase or decrease the intensity of your session and it makes cool-down a breeze.”

Moor Hall Leisure Club runs several studio cycling classes throughout the week; Morning classes are held on Wednesday and Friday at 7am, 8am on Saturday and 9.30am on Sunday; Evening classes are held 6.45pm on Monday, 8pm on Wednesday and 6.30pm on Thursday.

The new indoor bikes will be situated in the studio and used for the studio cycling classes, along with a new 75 inch flat screen television to provide an exciting class experience.

Benefits of Indoor Cycling Classes

Indoor cycling classes help you shed fat, improve your heart health, and boost your muscle endurance. Whether you are new to indoor cycling or been going for a while, you can set your own pace and compete at the same level.

Our top tips for joining a new Studio Cycling Class are to arrive early to allow the instructor to ensure you are set up correctly on your bike, speak to an instructor about obtaining your personal FTP* score, wear suitable workout clothing and ensure you bring a sweat towel and plenty of drinking water.

*Functional Threshold Power. FTP stands for Functional Threshold Power, measured in watts. FTP is used to determine training zones when using a power meter and to measure improvement.
