Covid-19 Update for our Leisure Club & Spa

The Leisure Club & Spa is open and ready to welcome our Leisure Club members, spa guests and hotel guests back safely. However, please note leisure club access is limited due to social distancing and is not guaranteed.

  • If you are staying at the hotel and would like to use the pool or gym, please contact our team on 0121 334 2323 before your stay to pre-book your time slots.
  • If you are a Leisure Club member please click here to book your time slot online.
  • If you are a Spa Day guest your time slot will be automatically allocated when you book your Spa Day by our Reservations Team.

We have been independently audited by Quality in Tourism to ensure we are keeping you safe. So although elements of our service will be different, we are committed to making sure that our teams are well-equipped, well trained and, as ever, ready to provide a warm welcome.

On Arrival

  • Please arrive through the Leisure Club entrance.
  • All members and guests will be temperature checked on arrival.
  • We offer contactless entry for members - just let the receptionist know your name.
  • Face masks are now required in public areas of our Leisure club.

Cleaning

  • All areas of the Leisure Club have been deep cleaned.
  • All key touch point areas are sanitised thoroughly and regularly.

The Gym

  • Please pre-book your time slot before you visit.
  • Time slots will be available to book online up to 1 week before.
  • Time slots will run every hour, with 50 minutes in the gym and allow for a 10 minute sanitisation period before the next slot starts.
  • Only 1 time slot per person is allowed per day.
  • All key touch point areas of the gym are sanitised thoroughly and regularly.
  • We disinfect the gym area every other hour with our fogging machine.
  • There are no changing facilities available for members or hotel guests using the gym for the time-being.
  • The kit is arranged to adhere to social distancing.
  • Please follow the one way system around the gym.
  • Please bring your own water bottle to refill and sanitise the water fountain after use.
  • Cleaning stations and hand sanitiser are available to use - please sanitise each piece of equipment after use.

The Pool

  • Please pre-book your time slot before you visit.
  • Time slots will be available to book online up to 1 week before.
  • Time slots will run every hour and include time in the changing areas before and after the swim and allow for a 10 minute sanitisation period before the next slot starts.
  • Only 1 time slot per person is allowed per day.
  • Changing facilities are available but we ask that you vacate promptly so we can prepare for the next time slot.
  • We kindly ask that members shower at home and hotel guests shower back in their room.
  • The spa pool is currently open.
  • The sauna and steam room are currently closed. We are waiting for further advice from the government to when these facilities can reopen.

Fitness Classes

  • We will be running a phased return for fitness classes.
  • We are limiting the number of people in each class to ensure social distancing.
  • Fitness classes will be pre-bookable online up to one week before.
  • There will be no aqua classes for the time-being.

The Spa

  • Our Spa is open for spa treatments, spa days and spa breaks.
  • All areas of the Spa have undergone deep cleaning and key touch points are sanitised thoroughly and regularly.
  • Therapists will wear a face shield during treatments.
  • Please arrive 5 minutes before your treatment time.

Our Team

  • Staff are temperature checked each day and complete a health questionnaire before each shift.
  • Staff have completed extra Covid-19 training to ensure you experience a safe visit and a warm welcome.
