How the Pingdemic Has Affected the Hospitality Industry
Moor Hall Hotel & Spa's CEO Angela Burns was interviewed by BBC News to discuss the pingdemic and how it has affected our family owned hotel.
Moor Hall Hotel & Spa remained open during the last lockdown for business travellers and reopened our doors to all guests on 17th May when restrictions lifted.
However, due to self-isolation guidelines in previously in place the hotel had to close its dining for outside guests earlier this month (August 2021) as we went from a team of 10 to 12 chefs down to 2 due to staff isolating.
The new rules implemented from Monday 16th August will make a huge difference to the hospitality industry as fully vaccinated people will no longer have to self-isolate if they are in close contact with a positive Covid case. They are advised to get a PCR test and if negative they can return to work.
