Sunday Lunch in the Oak Room Restaurant

The AA rosette Oak Room Restaurant at Moor Hall is the perfect place to enjoy a relaxing Sunday Lunch.

Open every Sunday from 12.30pm to 2.30pm we invite you to sit down to enjoy an afternoon of fine dining with friendly, attentive service and sweeping views across the surrounding parkland.

Our Sunday Lunch menu is full of imaginative and seasonal dishes created by our team of chefs and complemented by a great selection of fine wines. Our cosy bar or sunny terrace make a great spot to enjoy a drink after lunch too.

Price from January 2022: 3 courses for £29 per adult and £18 per child under 12

Salt baked celeriac veloute, pickled artichoke, mascarpone, crispy onion V VE*
Chicken galantine, quail egg, dill mayo, cauliflower salad, radish pickle
Beef carpaccio, cremeux egg yolk, fresh caper berries, fennel salad, tartar
Marinated heritage tomato, fresh burrata, olive crumb, basil V VE*

All served with roast garlic potatoes, cauliflower cheese, carrots, peas

Roast English beef, homemade Yorkshire pudding, red wine gravy
Roast Packington belly pork, crispy skin, caramelised apple purée, pan jus
Pan fried mackerel, petits pois à la Française, saffron potato, mussel and clam beurre blanc
Homemade pappardelle, spring vegetables, confit cherry tomato, pesto V
Baked cauliflower, curried coconut leeks, pomegranate, hazelnut crumb VE

Lincolnshire poacher
A hard, mature cheese.

Melton Mowbray stilton
A very creamy cheese with equal blue veining - not too strong but quite mellow.

Cornish Yarg
Nettle leaves are brushed onto the cheese as it matures leaving a delicate mushroomy taste with a lemony and creamy texture under its rind and an irresistible crumble in the core. V

Somerset brie
A creamy, soft cow’s milk cheese V

Fabulous manor house, full of history. Visited on a Sunday for lunch in the Oak Room. A chilled atmosphere, it felt really comfortable. Can't fault the staff or the food. Going back soon for an afternoon tea!
