British Food Fortnight 2017
From 23rd September - 8th October 2017 we were delighted to support British Food Fortnight, a celebration of the food and drink that makes Britain great.
In its 16th year, British Food Fortnight is a nationwide event which aims to raise awareness of the diversity of delicious home-grown, locally sourced British food and drink which makes our country great.
During British Food Fortnight we offered a different British inspired dish every day at the hotel such as bangers and mash, liver and onions, toad in the hole and fish and chips with mushy peas, plus all diners had a chance to enter a competition to win dinner, bed & breakfast for two at Moor Hall!
The British Food Fortnight celebrations didn’t stop there - we also invited pupils from the Arthur Terry School to don Chef’s hats and aprons and spend the day in our kitchen preparing a British themed three course meal which they later served to friends and family members.
