Best Western...an explanation
We make no secret of the fact that our three hotels belong to the Best Western marketing consortium, but time and time again customers ask us if we are owned by Best Western or if we are some kind of franchise. The answer is a resounding no – our group of companies has been privately owned and managed by the Webb family for nearly 50 years and it is going to stay that way!
Over 50 years old, Best Western is the world’s largest global hotel brand with over 4,200 hotels in the world and over 280 in the UK. We choose to be a member of Best Western and there are a number of very good reasons for doing so - obviously we keep our independence, but at the same time membership of the organisation means that we are promoted internationally by Best Western and our buying power is maximised. There are advantages to our customers too. As every hotel within the group is individually owned and managed, each one has its own unique charm and character, but Best Western’s annual inspections serve to ensure that each and every hotel meets the highest standards, so you can book in complete confidence, wherever you go. We are immensely proud of the fact that Moor Hall was the first hotel in the UK to be branded as Best Western Premier which acknowledges that we offer the same consistency and high standards as all Best Western hotels, but also extra facilities in stylish and charming surroundings.
If you are a frequent guest of ours you may like to join the Best Western Rewards scheme which means that you qualify for exclusive privileges (like free room upgrades, subject to availability) and you also earn points when you stay and dine at any Best Western hotel which can be exchanged for treats, like free stays and fine wines. If you would like to know more about Best Western Rewards scheme simply ask at reception when you next visit one of our hotels.
